More About Our

Students

Acquiring content

Each student’s learning is contextualized and applied for the specific and unique life-setting of than student. The cost is 10x less that non-denominational seminaries through a subscription based model.

Perfecting the craft

A mentor team of three people works with each student during the program. Each mentor focuses primarily on a specific area of the student’s development. Look at the mentor page for more information.

Cultivating godly character

The curriculum isn’t focused on time doing homework or letter grades. Rather, it affirms at graduation that students have the integrated knowledge, skills, and character needed to be effective in life.

Here is what to expect from mentors as a student

What a student does with mentors: The student will be participating in a competency based education that will be focused on learnings with contextual application. They will be working on developing these competencies at their own pace, and schedule. Depending on which mentor you are is what expectations you will see from your students.  How the mentor is involved with that: By having our learning experience modeled this way, you will work with the student to set up their meeting schedule, while seeking to work with yourself and other mentors to create feasible relationship goals as they work to become competent in their courses. We will work with you as you become a mentor to better understand this process.

Continuing in your theological education has never been easier.

An average student work week:

It is recommended to set aside approximately 10 hours per week for work related to the Masters, or Bachelor-Masters Learning Experiences. Doctoral work will require about 20 hours on average per week.

Degree Options

Masters/BA-MA's Programs

Bachelor-Master programs also have a group of 5-7 students and meet once a month in person or online for about two hours. Together, this group and the facilitating faculty mentor determine this collaborative learning environment and foster a sense of community and support. Additionally, throughout the program, students will typically spend four hours per month to connect with personal and vocational mentors.

Doctorate Programs

Doctorate Students have a group of 2-7 students to meet with once a month online for about two hours. Together, this group and the facilitating faculty mentor determine this collaborative learning environment and foster a sense of community and support. Additionally, doctorate students have the ability to customize this schedule according to their needs. Expect two to four hours of time dedicated to your learning community group.

What This Leads To

The degree programs have been designed to be able to meet the needs of the students, wherever they are in the world. By setting it up this way, progressing at your own pace through the course-load, you are able to complete the program in the timing that makes you ready to continue into God's work according to the competencies that have been identified as necessary for those interested in SALT Education.

As we are taking a look at the global church:

Recent studies show that the global church is growing at a pace that is faster than the world population. As a part of that, there are areas in the body of Jesus Christ that are under equipped to carry out the Great Commission. SALT is built in order to come and meet you right where you are, as you are, in order to press on until everyone in the world is in relationship with someone who is walking with Jesus Christ. Come and join us as we pursue this mission, we are better because of you!
