About Our School
The School of Applied Leadership for Transformation
What is SALT, and why do we exist? what is unique about our courses? how do I continue in discipleship with them?
SALT is a school within the International Leadership Consortium (ILC), an educational subsidiary of Campus Crusade for Christ, International. CCCI mission is to win, build, & send Christ-centered multiplying disciples who launch spiritual movements.
Our vision is having movements everywhere so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.
Core values include: Faith, Growth, and Fruitfulness.
Helping People's Lives Be Transformed
The design of the SALT curriculum works backward from what it wants to achieve to how it intends to achieve it. As such it is first impact-focused, then outcomes-oriented, then holistic competency-based, then student-sensitive, and finally mentor-facilitated theological education.
- Impact-focused education, it looks how those involved with the school will impact the Great Commission.
- As outcomes-oriented education, it identifies what the specific type of people are needed to affect that impact.
- Holistic competency-based education, it assesses how proficient students are with the areas of development.
- As student-sensitive education adjusts through discussions with a student to meet their needs.
- As part of being mentor-facilitated there are three mentors in relationship with each student.
- As theological education, it integrates the teaching of the Bible into each learning experience to help develop a student’s biblical worldview.
In Support Of That
SALT is Built for the Current State of the Global Church.
Through nine distinctive features, SALT is organized to come alongside varied parts of the church through education and mentorship to assist in their discipleship journey. Our aim is to bring you to be competent, supported, and encouraged for the calling in your life.
SALT - Developing Leaders for Transformational Impact
We provide personalized, holistic, cost-effective, and competency-based theological education (CBTE) for those equipping for various ministries. Through a journey of mentorship, our graduates have acquired content, perfected craft, and cultivated godly character for Kingdom work. We do it this way in order to build the spiritual leaders needed for the Great Commission.
It’s role is to maximize, through formal and non-formal education, the contribution of member institutions in equipping emerging Kingdom-minded leaders (Matt 28:18-20; Acts 10:38).
We Have Core Paths Set Up To Complete Transformational Impact for Christian Leaders
There Are Three Core Paths To Take With SALT.
When we are knitted together through love, the bond of peace, along with the unity of faith in Christ Jesus, we reach maturity. Below you see the paths that comprise these truths, so that we may send out mature Christ followers into the world.
Students
A staple in when we do, the student opportunity. We provide BA/MA, MA, and doctorate program opportunities for our students.
Mentors
Another path in the SALT CBTE program is the mentors. We invite you to go to the mentor page to explore what mentor opportunities there are to come alongside the students working on their competencies.
Partners
Whether it is parachurch organization, a church, pastor, or something else we welcome partnership opportunities. Donors, or as we say "givers" fall into this path as well.

As we are taking a look at the global church:
Recent studies show that the global church is growing at a pace that is faster than the world population. As a part of that, there are areas in the body of Jesus Christ that are under equipped to carry out the Great Commission. SALT is built in order to come and meet you right where you are, as you are, in order to press on until everyone in the world is in relationship with someone who is walking with Jesus Christ. Come and join us as we pursue this mission, we are better because of you!
