Focused on developing holistic, integrated competencies:
The SALT curriculum focuses on the student developing integrated competencies involving in three areas.
A customizable & relevant curriculum with immediate personal application:
SALT comes to the student instead of the student coming to the school. The curriculum can be customized for personal and vocational relevancy, which makes it highly contextualized.
Individualized mentoring instead of classroom teaching:
Completing the curriculum is a journey of discipleship that involves focused learning experiences and personal mentoring. Each student has three personal mentors
Peer-to-peer mentoring within a learning community team:
Learning together helps students experience specific aspects of biblical community, better understand team dynamics, and cultivate meaningful relationships.
Builds stronger families:
Students have found that applying the biblical principles and curriculum not only helped them excel academically, but also strengthened their marriage family relationships.
Globally accessible & time flexible:
The curriculum can be accessed at any time, while mentorship and learning curriculums are pre-scheduled events.
Affordable:
Having a school without residential buildings decreases operating costs, which makes it more affordable for students than attending a non-online school.
Academically credible:
We partner with Kairos University, which is accredited by two US government-recognized accreditation agencies: the regional Higher Learning Commission (HCL) and the national Association of Theological Schools (ATS).

As we are taking a look at the global church:

Recent studies show that the global church is growing at a pace that is faster than the world population. As a part of that, there are areas in the body of Jesus Christ that are under equipped to carry out the Great Commission. SALT is built in order to come and meet you right where you are, as you are, in order to press on until everyone in the world is in relationship with someone who is walking with Jesus Christ. Come and join us as we pursue this mission, we are better because of you!

How we are operating in the modern world of equipping you.

By being online and providing a competency based course, students are able to continually work at their own pace depending on their current life circumstance. Through our Pathwright learning system, students are able to go through and do their coursework with the support of learning communities and mentors. Graduation occurs when a student has completed all of the following required curriculum components and has been assessed as competent in the required competencies.

"This program is helping me see how it all fits together, and to understand in a deeper way, and to dig deeper."
Kimberly W.
Current Student
Individualized mentoring instead of classroom teaching

Completing the curriculum is a journey of discipleship that involves focused learning experiences and personal mentoring. Each student has three personal mentors (a Faculty Mentor, a Vocational Mentor, and a Life Mentor) who guide, support, and assess the demonstrated competencies for the student's development.

"The program is built to enhance what the Lord has already called me to do, and to do it Biblically and to do it well, to provide mentorship and knowledge, and incredible resources."

Focused on developing holistic, and integrated competencies

The SALT curriculum focuses on the student developing integrated competencies involving in three areas: content (knowledge), character (values & attitudes) and craft (skills). Assessment focuses on the student being transformed to meet the curriculum’s holistic competencies in these areas.

"It has given me the tools to be able to study the Scriptures for myself, instead of turning to commentaries or trusted voices. I now have the confidence to dig into God's word deeper and understand it first hand."
